As far as country artists go, Vince Gill is undoubtedly one of the most talented. Not only can the man write a decent song, he is a hell of a guitar player as well. There couldn’t have been a more deliberate name chosen for Gill’s first studio effort in five years, a celebration of the six-stringed instrument which Gill mastered long ago. Throughout these 15 tracks, Gill’s guitar-playing takes centre stage; sometimes his playing is more flashy like on the title song and All Nighter Comin’ while his style is suitably muted to fit gorgeous ballads like Threaten Me With Heaven and Who Wouldn’t Fall In Love With You. Whatever the style, Gill executes it with precision and passion.
