Much like a fine wine, PEI’s Two Hours Traffic consistently gets better with age. After last year’s Siren Spell teaser EP, the full breadth of the group’s pop vision comes to light on Foolish Blood. The group’s guitar-driven power pop has in fact never sounded better. The band weaves tight melodies around vocalist Liam Corcoran, bringing an earnest energy to each of the record’s tracks with little in the way of filler. An occasional reference point may be 70’s pop band The Raspberries (especially on Faster 4 U) but at the end of the day, Two Hours Traffic make these songs all their own.
