Of the Rolling Stones output from the second half of the 1970’s, 78’s Some Girls has always stood out as a gem. Sandwiched between mediocre studio efforts Black & Blue and Emotional Rescue, Some Girls has an element of danger to it, no doubt inspired by Keith Richard’s arrest on drug charges months before recording sessions got underway. This deluxe edition features the original Some Girls album in a re-mastered state while adding a bonus disc of a dozen tracks that largely hold true to the grittiness and willingness to get down and dirty as they did on Some Girls.
