It seems as though it is getting increasingly rare to see a decent music video these days. Since very few artists have the money to blow ten times my annual salary on making a video for one song from their new record, bands are taking matters into their own hands and are coming up with some surprisingly good results. Behold the new video from the Sloan band for their track Unkind.
Rolling Stone Magazine called the video “simple, elegant and immediately engaging” and frankly because I am all about being efficient, why should I try to come up with a better way to describe the clip when RS have done such an excellent job doing so. Point: Ken.
And for the love of God, if you haven’t already checked out Sloan’s new record The Double Cross, I would highly recommend doing so. It is definitely going to be one of my favorites for the year.
