A chameleon of sorts, perhaps one of the best qualities that Rufus Wainwright can boast of is the fact that he can take on any number of music genres with typically stunning results. While Out of the Game might have the most commercial potential of any of his last couple of studio efforts, it is perhaps one of his finest releases since his 1998 debut. Produced by Mark Ronson (Amy Winehouse), Ronson helps smooth Wainwright’s edges while still allowing the artist his creative freedom to indulge in beautiful pop music making for an absolutely gorgeous release.
