After more than four decades of travelling the world, Canadian rock institution Rush hasn’t permanently called it quits, but has essentially sworn off undertaking any large-scale tours in the future. While Time Stand Still touches on the reasoning behind the group’s fateful decision, it also boasts a plethora of live footage, archival material and in-depth interviews with the band, their management, road crew and others. What is arguably most endearing about the documentary, however, is seeing the close bond that the group’s music has forged among its fans, some of which claim to have seen the band perform live more than 100 times. It’s the end of an era. Let’s just hope it isn’t the end of the Rush story.
