Owing a large musical debt to the likes of fellow American acts like Tom Petty and some of the more laid-back moments of The Jayhawks, the debut record from Nashville band The Wild Feathers is an impressive venture for the band. While they might not be shy about wearing their influences on their sleeves, their seamless blend of country, rock, blues and more is all their own. Their impeccable harmonies on Left My Woman and Hard Times recall the Eagles while on the mid-tempo Hard Wind, the band channels the Allman Brothers.
