It is difficult to believe that it has been more than a decade since Canadian rock band the Headstones has released new music. One of Canada’s greatest if not most underrated rock bands, the songs on Love & Fury sound at once fresh and spontaneous while still drawing from the 20 years of experience that have passed since the release of their debut record. In a day and age of overly indulgent music, the Headstones show that rock and roll is still indeed fat and ugly. And very few do it better than these guys.
