Review of Ace Frehley – Space Invader (eOne Canada)

Ace FrehleyThere has been much mud slung between Ace Frehley and his former bandmates in Kiss over the last six months making for a potentially embarrassing situation for Frehley if Space Invader was anything less than stellar. And though dubbing the album stellar would be overreaching, Frehley knows his fans and what they are after, which he has definitely delivered upon. This is no BS, guilt-free rock and roll record, driven by Frehley’s impressive guitar chops. Highlights include “Gimme A Feelin’,” “I Wanna Hold You,” “Immortal Pleasures” and “Reckless.” Space Invader shows Frehley’s continued relevance cannot be denied.
