Despite their massive popularity that has healthily endured the last four decades, Swedish pop legends Abba were reportedly not a prolific live band, undertaking only three European tours, one American jaunt and one tour of Japan during the 11 years they were together. Frankly, you’d never know it listening to this 1979 concert. Each of the 25 tracks included on this double-disc collection is impeccably performed as the group and their accompanying band brings their material from the studio to the concert stage. Whether listening ballads like “Chiquitita” and “I Have A Dream” or other favourites like “Dancing Queen,” “Does Your Mother Know” and “Take A Chance On Me,” this live set shows Abba were a force to be reckoned with right across the board.
