A lot has happened in the world of Mumford & Sons in the last three years. Namely, they became global superstars playing a hybrid of bluegrass and rambunctious folk music accompanied by excellent vocal harmonies. Thankfully, the group doesn’t take any wild musical detours on Babel, their sophomore effort, yet they steer clear of simply re-making their hit debut. It’s a fine line for any band to walk but it is one that Mumford & Sons seem to do well based on the strength of songs like Whispers In The Dark, Broken Crown and I Will Wait.
