Pursuing a brighter path than what he might be known for, Jayhawks member Mark Olson’s upcoming record Many Colored Kite is a simply marvellous listen. Whether singing stark, simplistic acoustic material like Beehive and Morning Dove or grand, memorable songs like Your Life Beside Us and Little Bird Of Freedom, there are few artists who are able to convey a certain majesty with their music; Mark Olson is definitely one of them however.
