It is pretty hard to resist the sweet pop sounds of Montreal’s High Dials. On their newest record, they take equal helpings of The Zombies and more modern sounds like Teenage Fanclub and bring them all together for 40 minutes of pure pop goodness, faux British accents and all. Highlights worth checking out include Teenage Made Me Insane, I Was You Were, Mysterio and I’m Over You (I Hope It’s True). While Anthems… might be too sweet for some, I could listen to this record all day long and not tire of it.
