The latest album from Canadian prog-rock n’ rollers Rush finds the group embracing the concept album once again, loosely focused upon a young man following his dreams. Technically, few bands can hold a candle to the musical prowess that this trio offers. What is perhaps one of their most interesting qualities is how, even 36 years into their career, they can sound as fresh and relevant as ever. Tight arrangements, a superb performance and thought provoking, insightful lyrics are the order of the day on Clockwork Angels.
