Review of The Good Family Album – S/T (Latent)

Layout 1Music has been running in the Good Family’s veins for decades now. Starting with The Good Brothers, The Sadies (consisting of Dallas and Travis Good) then more than capably carried on the twang torch. This release is a wonderful collaborative effort that brings two very influential generations of musicians together. Trading off vocals among six of the group’s eight members, The Good Family Album explores traditional country throughout the record including the tracks Paradise and Same Old Song while bluegrass also runs deep in their veins on Outside of Saskatoon. If you’re a fan of old time, traditional country, you won’t want to miss hearing this.
