Review: Little You, Little Me – I’d Watch The Day Til It Died (Monopolized Records)

Little You Little MeDrawing inspiration from lo-fi pioneers like Dinosaur Jr. and Moncton’s own Eric’s Trip, the sophomore record from Saint John quartet Little You, Little Me energetically sizzles right out of the gate. Fuelled by buzzsaw guitars, a driving rhythm section and a smattering of unconventional time signatures, I’d Watch The Day Til It Died proves to be a delightfully upbeat listen, highlighted by raucously melodic tracks like “Greed,” “Racket In My Brain,” “If You Say It Ain’t So,” and “There’s A Lot I Don’t Understand.”
