Paul & Linda McCartney – Ram (Special Edition) (Universal Music Canada)

  • by Ken Kelley
  • July 5, 2012

When you have The Beatles on your resume, all of your work, regardless of how great it is, is going to come under scrutiny. In my opinion, Ram is one of McCartney’s most under-appreciated efforts and shows a rather playful side to the artist that was hinted at on his 1970 solo debut which comes to full light here. Available in no less than three different configurations, Ram is arguably one of McCartney’s finest solo efforts and is a reissue that is definitely worth investing in.

    Ken,

How is the special edition different from the first pressing? Are there any bonus tracks, digitally remastered tracks?

    Hi Simon,

Depending on the configuration you pick up depends on the amount of bonus stuff you get. There is a straight-ahead one CD reissue, a 2 CD reissue, a pack with a DVD…It goes on and on, depending how deep your wallet is!
