When it came to Metallica and Megadeth, I always liked Megadeth but will be the first to admit that I was always more of a Metallica guy. But as the years have passed, there is no disputing how powerful of a record Megadeth delivered when they originally released this, their sophomore record, 25 years ago. As evidenced by the pair of tracks that open the record, Wake Up Dead and The Conjuring, Megadeth were more about showing their musical chops than dazzling listeners with messages to change their ways or face eternal damnation. Included in this reissue is a 13-track bonus disc featuring a show recorded approximately 9 months after the original release of Peace Sells. The show is a raw, balls-to-the-wall thrash fest that hits the mark far more often than not.
