Jason Haywood – A Thousand Miles Since Yesterday (Independent)

  • by Ken Kelley
  • August 9, 2012

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Gene Clark (to whom the album is dedicated), Gram Parsons and more traditional country fare like Johnny Cash, Moncton’s Jason Haywood has finally graced us with his newest album. With each new record, Haywood shows immense promise and this one is no exception. A Thousand Miles Since Yesterday features Haywood’s smooth vocals over shimmering pedal steel and mandolin, all backed by an impeccably tight band that helps Haywood pay tribute to the classic country music of the 60’s.
