Arguably one of the best records to emerge from Canada this year in any genre comes courtesy of Japandroids. Naming the album Celebration Rock is no mere accident. Though the group shares the same basic formation as say the White Stripes, these eight songs are a celebration of loud guitars, crashing drums and passionate vocals. The rawness that the duo lends to these songs creates an infectious energy that will have you hooked from the first moments of the record.
