About The MusicNerd Chronicles

My name is Ken Kelley. I’m a musician, a father of two awesome kids and am a nerd about music. I organize my CD collection alphabetically and am proud of that fact.

When I was younger, kid-less and mortgage-free (aka the 90’s), I played drums with Moncton band The Monoxides. We toured Canada a lot, supporting the likes of The Pursuit of Happiness, The Headstones, Big Sugar, Our Lady Peace, ZZ Top and others. We are still making music together today. Just not as often as any of us would like.

In addition to the work posted here, I am also a contributor to The Times & Transcript, The Telegraph Journal, Canadian Musician, Ultimate Classic Rock and Diffuser.fm.

Unsolicited music is welcome, however, I ask that you please be patient in waiting for replies.

Also, please note that I’m available for hire for work. Kids and houses aren’t cheap. Email me at ken [at] musicnerd.ca. You can also find me on Twitter and Facebook.

  1. When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get several emails with
the same comment. Is there any way you can remove
people from that service? Thanks a lot!

  2. Do you have a spam issue on this blog; I also am a blogger, and I was curious about your situation; many of us have developed some nice procedures and we are looking to trade strategies with others, please shoot me an e-mail if interested.

  3. Nice read, I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing a little research on that. And he actually bought me lunch since I found it for him smile Therefore let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch!
