About
Husband, father, music nerd and rock star. I do it all.
My name is Ken Kelley. I am a passionate music fan and an avid music collector. Together with my lovely wife Tanya and our two kids, we live just outside the city limits of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada.
I started playing the drums at age 10 and formed a band (The Monoxides) with my friend Steve at age 12. Shortly after, our friends PJ and Derek would join us and together, the four of us would have the opportunity to tour throughout Canada and the US with the likes of Our Lady Peace, ZZ Top, The Headstones and The Pursuit of Happiness among many others.
Never in our wildest dreams did we ever think that we would have the opportunity to play alongside and meet some of the bands we did let alone having had the opportunity to be signed to a major record label. It was (and continues to be) a truly amazing experience.
I began writing in 2004, contributing CD reviews to a weekly paper based out of Moncton and distributed throughout the province of New Brunswick. From there, I was given the opportunity to expand my scope of writing, having the chance to write feature articles and cover stories on artists, many of whom I have long admired as a fan. This site collects those articles and more in one easy to find place.
I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to check my website out. I hope you find something here that interests you.
Visit often,
Ken
